In wrestling programs across the state of Kansas, coaches push their athletes to be successful on the mat, in the classroom, and in life. The tie-ins between the work ethic of a successful wrestler and a successful student-athlete are clear. Hard work produces positive results.
“We are honored to be able to recognize our Academic All-State Junior and Senior Wrestlers that are getting it done in the classroom! We also are excited to recognize our Team Academic All-State winners lead by our Academic Team State Champions: Garden Plain (321A), Chanute, Frontenac and Hesston (4A), Blue Valley Southwest (5A), Mill Valley (6A) and McPherson (Girls),” said KWCA President Doug Vander Linden.
The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association is a non-profit comprised of volunteers concerned with Leading, Honoring, Promoting, and Serving Kansas Wrestling.
